Throw Dove | silk & cotton

Archie Dove has subtle shades of blue grey that are handprinted on an ethereal handwoven cotton silk ground.  A broad storm cloud grey panel gives weight to this lofty quilt. Women artisans traditionally sew quilts as family heirlooms in West Bengal. They "Kantha" stitch for approximately four weeks, using our carefully chosen cotton thread colors, to give body and structure to the composition of each unique piece. A vivid flourish of peacock blue in a heavier thread scrolling line wings its way from one side to the other.
