Totem George is the ultimate scrumminess — a heavenly 100% machine-knit cashmere, generously woven at 80" × 28" so there's always enough to wrap, drape, or simply disappear into.

Handprinted by incredible artisans, our Totem artwork debuts a stunning new colorway — a dense black-and-olive, where the blue-and-olive overprint creates a tangy teal. When wrapped, the cozy nature of the classy knitted cashmere has a dove weight; when draped, the snazzy design does all the talking. The nature of the knitted cashmere lends the scarf an undulating, organic cheekiness. This is a one-of-a-kind limited edition — hand screen-printed in small production runs, each scarf is individually finished and features Susy's original artwork.

Hand-knitted and handprinted in Kathmandu, Nepal, each scarf is wonderfully soft — cosy without bulk, just right for the cold months, and light enough to wear well into spring. The fine knit breathes beautifully and lets the color show through both sides.

Is this one size?

Yes. At 80" × 28" (203 × 71 cm), this is our larger, more generous cashmere scarf — oversized enough to wrap, drape, or wear as a shawl.

Is it warm enough for winter?

Genuinely, yes — and then some. Cashmere is one of nature's finest insulators: it traps warmth without weight, so you get the heat of a heavy wool without any of the bulk or scratch. At 80" × 28", Totem George is generous enough to wrap properly — over a coat, around your shoulders, or tucked into a collar. It's the scarf you reach for on the coldest mornings and still want to wear in April.

What does 100% cashmere actually mean — and how does this compare to cashmere blends?

Pure cashmere comes from the undercoat of Himalayan goats and is graded by fiber diameter. Totem George uses 100% knitted cashmere — no blends, no fillers — which means softer hand-feel, better insulation, and longer life with proper care. Blended cashmere (often 10–30% cashmere) may feel similar in-store but pills faster and loses its drape over time.

Will it pill?

All cashmere pills initially — it's a sign of genuine fiber, not a defect. With Totem George, light pilling may appear in high-friction areas (under a bag strap, at the collar) in the first few wears. A cashmere comb removes pills easily and restores the surface. After the first season, pilling typically stops.

Is it a good gift?

Is this truly a limited edition?

Yes. Totem George is produced in small batches and will not be reprinted once sold out. Each scarf is individually hand-knitted and handprinted.

Can I travel with it?

Yes — it's one of the best travel scarves we make. The lightweight cashmere knit rolls up small, won't wrinkle, and transitions effortlessly from plane to street to dinner.

Can I return or exchange my scarf?
